Pacha Ibiza

Founded in 1973, this iconic finca in Ibiza Town has blossomed into one of the world’s most legendary clubbing empires.

At its heart remains the original Ibiza venue—a sparkling gem in the global nightlife crown—offering an unmatched mix of chic style and VIP allure. It’s the ultimate playground for patrons to lose themselves to beats from the planet’s top DJs on its electrifying dancefloor.

Pacha and Ibiza are inseparable; a bond as deep as the island’s storied nightlife itself. For locals, it’s a beloved institution; for first-time tourists, it’s an essential rite of passage. With over 50 years of party expertise and a dazzling 2018 revamp, it boasts one of the most star-studded DJ lineups on the White Isle.

Expect everything from underground grooves to mainstream anthems and timeless dance classics—whatever the vibe, Pacha promises an unforgettable soundtrack to a visitor’s night.

AIR

In 2010, AIR opened its doors in the vibrant nightlife area of Amsterdam. Former nightclub IT defined the atmosphere at Rembrandt Square in the early 90’s and 00’s and AIR has adopted this job since its opening.  Over the years, AIR has focused on a number of important values – tolerance, diversity, creativity, quality and freedom.  The club is a household name in Amsterdam’s nightlife, but it doesn’t only attract local visitors.

Amnesia

Around in various forms since the late 70s, the 5,000-capacity Amnesia is an Ibiza institution located on San Antonio Road.

Amnesia features two large rooms, one with an air-conditioned upstairs VIP lounge and a dance floor lined by infamous cooling ice cannons, as well as an enclosed greenhouse terrace sunrise dance floor that becomes flooded with rays as the sun rises in the morning.

With a custom made sound system using Expanded Amnesia Technology that hones in on frequencies that physically affect the bodies of dancers, Amnesia provides a unique experience for techno, trance and house. Amnesia is a clubbing powerhouse you’ll never forget.

Badaboum

Located in the heart of Bastille and proud of his fully polymorphic way of life. Badaboum is a dedicated long sets club for house and techno lovers, a concert venue hosting eclectic line-ups, a friendly restaurant of fine-cooking right from the market and a playground for grown-ups.

Blue Marlin

The Blue Marlin is set in what has to be one of Ibiza’s most picturesque corners, the glorious stretch of sand that is Playa es Jondal.

This sprawling beach complex is made up of a gleaming white bar, a flashy restaurant and, of course, a club, that regularly plays host to live music events. Their Flamenco flavoured Sundays provide an alternative to the constant thud of techno beats. All these elements together form a brilliant package that few other venues can match: slick, chilled and subtly threaded with hedonism.

Bora Bora

Quite simply; Bora Bora is one of the best-known beach bars in Ibiza.

Nestled in the middle of the beautiful Playa d’en Bossa beach, you’ll find it as soon as your feet touch the sand – it’s the place with the loudest music and the most people dancing away on the beach. During the early hours of the afternoon, Bora Bora is more subdued due to noise restrictions placed on it. As soon as the clock strikes 5pm though, the volume gets cranked up and stays that way until midnight, where the party continues indoors or just down the road at Space Ibiza. If you’re in Playa d’en Bossa, a visit to Bora Bora should always be on the agenda.

Café Del Mar

The world-famous Café del Mar opened its doors for the first time on June 20th 1980.

Located just a few meters from the Mediterranean sea facing Sa Conillera Island, the concept was simple – to provide music to accompany the spectacular sunsets. In the early days, Café del Mar was a prominent meeting point among the locals and an origin of inspiration for artists and authors. By the 1990s it had become one of the most popular destinations in Ibiza and a venue for events hosted by BBC Radio 1, Channel 4 and MTV. Around the world Café del Mar is possibly most renowned for its annual chillout compilations, the first of which was released in 1994 after an overwhelming demand from fans. It was a global success and resulted in a much-respected chillout series that has sold millions of copies to date. This global success has turned a modest beach bar in Ibiza into a global brand with franchises all over the world.

Café Mambo

Now one of the most popular clubs on the White Isle, the iconic Café Mambo sits at the beach end of what has become known as the ‘Sunset Strip’ in San Antonio.

Established in 1994 by Javier Anadon and against all advice, the original small Ibicencan and derelict house has become a prevailing force in the dance music industry. With international DJs of the calibre of Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez, Paul Oakenfold and Frankie Knuckles playing regular sets, not to mention appearances by Groove Armada, Faithless, BodyRockers, Jaimie Cullum, Brand New Heavies (to name a few) Café Mambo has firmly established itself as a visionary front-runner in a highly competitive field. In 2007 Cafe Mambo was honoured for the second time with the prestigious DJ Award for the Best Bar in Ibiza. This was international recognition for the marked contribution Café Mambo has made to the island, changing the way people perceive San Antonio within the music industry and generally making a tangible difference to the way bars and restaurants think in Ibiza.

Canal Mills

Canal Mills draws on its creative past, rooted within the backbone of the industrial revolution to create a dynamic space that intertwines historic and modern-day creativity whilst ultimately playing host to unique, bespoke events in Leeds.

Interweaving the lines of its own authentic history and the unbounded innovation of modern art, the venue offers up a revolutionary space unique of its type in Leeds. Canal Mills itself is an artefact that visually awakens the traditional processes of the textile mill from which its creative heredity stems, in a modern environment. The venue will showcase a range of artistic pursuits from exhibitions, theatrical projects and film screenings, to live gigs and electronic dance events, all the while sustaining the unique aesthetic elements born from the heart of its heritage as a textile mill.

Cocoon

An internationally recognised club of electronic music in Frankfurt, Sven Väth decided to develop a club concept for the new millennium.

The main floor of the venue, with its exceptional podium scenery, constitutes the centrepiece of the club – which every weekend becomes the dance floor for all electronic music lovers. The applied technology is unique in the world: the high-end sound system provides an incomparable sound and the unusual architecture, which follows organic forms, together with the almost unending possibilities of the lighting and video system transmits a vivid and unique character to the room.

Culture Box

During the weekends, the club books a mixture of international and local artists in the underground music scene. The music styles are broad, but ranges from electronica, through bass music, to house and techno.

Digital

Newcastle’s Digital has been presented as “the most technically-advanced and forward-thinking club and live music venue in the north.”

Described as having a “lush, industrial feel”, its 1,400 capacity will be split into two rooms at the city centre’s Times Square, on the site of the former Powerhouse nightclub which has been bought and totally re-modelled. Digital boasts an award-winning, awe-inspiring sound system with four industry-leading Funktion One dance stacks – one of only a handful in the world, complete with a cool six-figure price tag. The club is known for its purpose-built, three-room layout and world-class sound systems. Every clubbing city has a staple – a star at its centre everything else revolves around. For London, it’s undoubtedly Fabric. And Fabric is one for the locals. Since its grand opening in 1999 it has its fair share of curious foreigners, sure, many of whom reside in London, popped in one night, fell in love with the place and return every week. What’s really remarkable about this ex-meat storage facility in London’s Smithfield Market though, is what it’s achieved for British club culture.

Home

Sydney’s only true super club, Home overlooks Darling Harbour and features over three levels of purpose-built clubbing space.

With a capacity of 2,500, the venue is one of the largest in the southern hemisphere. Over the past ten years, Home has established a reputation for excellence in the planning and management of events. It’s become the stuff of legend, and the state-of-the-art sound system and range of dance floors are the sonic icing on the cake.

Its beating heart, the Box, remains much the same as it did the day it opened, its focus on sound and production is still at the forefront of the technology of its time.

The powerful sound of a German-imported Dynacord alpha concept speaker system fills the entire space: while intelligent, LED and conventional lighting brings each room to vibrant life.  Pacha also boasts a fully integrated video system with moveable screens and LED walls.

With its laid back and cool attitude, Savannah attracts a glamorous and international clientele.

Space

Before its closure in 2016, Space was considered one of the best clubs in the world and a showroom that represented the best of the clubbing scene not only because of its numerous awards but because of the support of artists and members of the industry.

To organise an event at Space is synonymous of success and an award desired by artists and promoters. Just a few clubs can be proud to have been awarded as many times in its trajectory as Space. The club from Playa d’en Bossa is by its own merits and according to exceptional collection of awards, a worldwide clubbing reference. Closing in 2016, the club was reopened in 2017 as Hi Ibiza, part of the Ushuaia Entertainment group. Could we see another Space in the future though? We do hope so…
