Fabric
Not only one of London’s premier venues, but one of the world’s, hosting weekly line-ups of the foremost names in electronic music.
The club is known for its purpose-built, three-room layout and world-class sound systems. Every clubbing city has a staple – a star at its centre everything else revolves around. For London, it’s undoubtedly Fabric. And Fabric is one for the locals. Since its grand opening in 1999 it has its fair share of curious foreigners, sure, many of whom reside in London, popped in one night, fell in love with the place and return every week. What’s really remarkable about this ex-meat storage facility in London’s Smithfield Market though, is what it’s achieved for British club culture.
