For over ten years, the annual BPM show has evolved to keep up with and match the innovative industry in which DJs and electronic musicians play.
This annual event is one of the only UK DJ shows on the calendar and as such, is pretty much a ‘must-visit’ event for DJs, from professional to the bedroom, giving them opportunity to learn, network and experience.
And Decksaver are proud to be back at the show and will have the full team on the stand for both days of the show.
The History of BPM
The first BPM took place in 2007 and attracted over 2000 visitors over its first weekend of trading. The show has always tried to blend a mix of equipment demonstrations, educational sessions and even live performances and DJ sets.
From 2018 the show relocated to its current location at Cranmore Park, just outside Birmingham, which makes it easy for UK and international visitors to get to. With the organising taken over by a new management team, the show should hopefully be safe for years to come.
The 2021 Show
Making up for lost time with no event in 2020, this year’s show is expected to be a well-attended event, with plenty to keep visitors excited and interested whether there for a few hours or for two full days.
There’s a full seminar program upstairs over the both days, whilst during the show, the PLAY@BPM stage will showcase new DJ talent to exhibitors and visitors (the stage is right near the bar, so it’s bound to get some footfall over the two days!).
For those interested in live sound, the Sound Suite will give top brands the chance to demonstrate speakers and sound systems in ten minute sessions held over the two days.
So what about the brands? Of course, the main reason to attend for most visitors, will be to get their hands on exciting new gear, with flashing lights, twisty knobs and booming basslines! At the show you can expect to see gear from Allen & Heath, Pioneer DJ, Reloop, Omnitronic, Dynamic Distribution, Magma and of course, Decksaver as well as service providers such as CD Pool, Mastermix, Mobile DJ Network and NADJ. Representing the retailers is DJ Superstore, who will no doubt have a full range of gear on display.
Special show discounts are always popular and many of the exhibitors (including Decksaver of course), will be running special offers over the two days. See us on stand B3, right next door to Pioneer DJ for details of show savings.
We hope to see you there.
