Superbooth is back – and so are Decksaver.
The annual show in Berlin sees many of the world’s top electronic music brands come together for one of the ‘must-visit’ exhibitions for anyone with more than a passing interest in electronic music-making.
With over 20 years of history, the show started as part of the Musikmesse in Frankfurt, where a bunch of like-minded individuals created their own special space for the sharing of hardware and musical instruments.
Cut to 2015 and Herr Schneider decided to take Superbooth out of Frankfurt and transform it into a new format, part of which was a move to Berlin to create his very own version of a specialist trade fair.
In 2016 the first standalone Superbooth opened its doors to the Funkhaus Berlin and welcomed 96 exhibitors for its premiere. These first three days of Superbooth turned out to be an intense, unique atmosphere of communicating and celebrating, where almost everyone left with a package of outstanding memories.
A move to the current venue, the FEZ-Berlin took place in 2017 and has cemented the show as an essential on the music gear calendar.
The 2022 show will soon be opening it’s doors to the many thousands of fans, brands and press. Exhibitors waiting to share their gear include Ableton, Native Instruments, 1010 Music, Moog, AKAI Professional, Polyend, Dreadbox, Korg, UDO, Ashun, Erica Synths, Modal, Arturia, Novation, Sequential, Rhodes and of course, Decksaver!
But it’s not just gear of course; the Superbooth team run some awesome educational and inspirational presentations and workshops, where you can learn how to build your own synth, or hear from top brands and artists.
